What is the best way to clean a silk skirt that had a close encounter with a BBQ chicken? Once it happened I immediately soaked the stain in water, the result is that the stain is barely noticable; however, the location of the stain is in a sensitve location. Bottom line: the skirt needs to be cleaned, but don't know the best way to clean silk? Dry clean or handwash in cold water?

I accidentally split oil, could be olive oil, onto my skirt. Sprayed it with Vanish and washed it on a delicate wash but the stains have not gone. It is a silk skirt and says dry clean. Any ideas how to remove oil? Thanks I clened it with washing up liquid and it worked a treat!

Some massage oil was spilled on my white silk skirt 6 months ago and i just noticed it... the stain looks light yellow. I took the skirt to the dry cleaners, but no success! Any suggestions how I can get the stain out?

I have a lovely hot pink silk skirt that I gentle washed with woolite and it turned out with whit splotches on it. It looks like the color was removed from those areas, rather than it being stained. Can I dye the entire skirt and have it come out an even color? or will the white area remain a lighter shade? I love this skirt and it was pricey, how can I fix it?

I tried to make one, but it only looks and wrap like a regular wrap skirt, and then I did some research and I'm gonna use the trapezoid formula and all, but that girl turned out to be making a regular wrap skirt. Is the trapezoid thing the same formula for a multi wear sari wrap skirt?
