Do you think the country could have survived if Johnson had been thrown out of office? He was impeached because he and Congress could not agree on reconstruction plans. Many northerners opposed him because he was a southern sympathizer. However, the argument for his impeachment was weak, and he was kept in office because the Senate was 1 vote short of conviction. Yet if Johnson had been impeached, what do you think would be the impact on the country that was desperately trying to rebuild? Would Johnson's conviction have been beneficial, or would the country have been thrown into further turmoil? charlie-yes he was ineffective after the impeachement, but would a change of presidents at that point have been chaotic? also, what would the south's reaction have been?

It make no sence that johnson can go the entire way. but most the other cars are about 10-15 laps short on fuel. If the car are as even as NASCAR claims, shouldnt they all run out in about 2 or 3 laps of each other?

I had it as a baby, and nearly died. Its a auto immune disorder, that for a short while your antibodies go haywire and forget to attack invading germs, also it makes you allergic to almost anything. I was in a protective enviroment for 5 months, lost almost all my skin, had boils, and diarreah, and everything else associated with it. I had a very bad case of it and got over it with hardly any allergies. I was told, after getting pregnant, it was not heriditary. I asked about it, well they said exactly. Its not "KNOWN" to be. Any way after my daughter was born about 6 weeks later she got so sick. Test after test after test and they finally said it was Steven Johnson Syndrome. She was sick a long time. My mom said longer than me. So it IS heriditary? or did she just have a propencity for it since I had it previous? I thought syndromes were passable to your offspring?

Short shaft, 2 stroke. Bought new and used less than 10 times. Looks brand new. I'm having a hard time finding out what it is worth. I have a friend wanting to buy it. nada lists a value around $350, but 1970's models are selling for over $500.
